What is the ThetaHealing® Technique?
The ThetaHealing meditation technique was created by Vianna Stibal in 1995 during her own personal journey back to health. Her original book details her personal healing journey and her connection to the Creator utilizing her meditation technique.
The ThetaHealing technique is a meditation technique utilizing a spiritual philosophy with the purpose of improvement in mind, body and spirit while getting closer to the Creator of All That Is (our God has many names and we call him Creator). It is a focused prayer to the Creator and allows you to train your mind, body and spirit to clear limiting beliefs and live life with positive thoughts, developing virtues in all that we do. Through meditation and prayer, the ThetaHealing Technique creates a positive lifestyle.
The ThetaHealing technique is always taught to be used in conjunction with conventional medicine. It teaches how to put to use one's own natural intuition, relying upon unconditional love of Creator Of All That Is to do the actual “work.” We believe by focused prayer utilizing a “Theta” and "delta" brainwave (incorporating physics and quantum physics), you can actually witness the Creator Of All That Is create instantaneous physical and emotional wellbeing. We have learned that through the ThetaHealing Technique intuitive abilities can be used to bring about spontaneous changes and physical and emotional wellbeing.
Vianna now has several audios on Soundcloud. They are great for keeping in practice with your ThetaHealing meditation if you've already been to class, and also a great way to see what ThetaHealing is like if you're very new to ThetaHealing.
Vianna's video below takes you through the ThetaHealing meditation technique.
It's been several years now since my first practitioner seminar in 2012, and my life has changed for the better in every imaginable way. It does take time and practice but miracles are possible for all of us! The way I was introduced to ThetaHealing® was through online teleseminars I had found during my studies of Law of Attraction and ways of clearing subconscious blocks that are the most likely reason why positive affirmations and mindset haven't worked (within reason) as expected. I've been blessed all my life with excellent health and wasn't searching for some elusive treatment for a medical condition as many others were. I had tried hypnosis, self hypnosis, and neuro linguistic programming (NLP), and had found these techniques to be useful but not as fast or effective as I would've liked. I first tried ThetaHealing® through recordings and then in an actual session and in all situtations I felt changes and observed, through muscle testing, when something in my subconscious mind had changed. There were positive events and changes after the session as well. That story of mine is a great pattern for anyone to follow in searching out healing techniques by noticing if something resonates when you hear about it, you are aware of changes being made in the session, and you feel noticably different after or observe changes after the session.
Importance of the Subconscious Mind
From about ages 2-6 yrs, childrens' brains are mostly in a theta brainwave and they absorb information directly into their subconscious mind. This is one reason its much easier for a young child to learn new languages than it is for an adult. Where this can cause difficulty, even in an ideal situation where the childs' parents have the best of intentions and the child is loved and treated well, is when the child learns limiting beliefs or behaviors that are then stored in the subconscious and get in the way of love, success, good health, or other areas later in life. Patterns and beliefs learned later in life can also affect the subconscious though not as easily. Anytime a person has a limiting pattern running through their life, such as a specific relationship problem that one would never intentionally repeat but just seems to happen again and again, a subconscious belief is likely causing it. According to different sources, the subconscious controls about 90% of our mind. Our conscious, or thinking mind which we are aware of, controls the rest. The subconscious is running our lives. To our subconscious, anything familiar is safe, and changes are potentially dangerous, so the subconscious will work against conscious efforts to make changes. This is why it can be very difficult for people to make healthy or positive changes in their lives and why a technique such as ThetaHealing® can be life changing for shifting subconscious beliefs and creating the space for real healing.
